VdS Alorah Registration # 25951
DOB: August 4, 2014
Sire: FF Dinamico
Dam: FF Amberina
Price: $5,000.00
***** Rare PEARL Chestnut*****
VdS Alorah is a three year old, registered Peruvian Paso filly that carries the rare PEARL gene. To breeders, that means that if a Cream dilution is present, a pseudo-double Cream dilute phenotype will result. Simply stated, rare colors are possible when this filly is bred to stallions with color… or other PEARL gene carriers.
Alorah ties, loads, bathes, lounges, and stands nicely for the farrier. She is a compact filly, standing about 14.2 hands, and is still growing and maturing. She has now had one month of training and is doing very well.
I am cutting back again on my breeding program as I close in on retirement. I kept her because of her wonderful temperament and excellent breeding. I would prefer to just trail ride these days, but I already have 3 wonderful trail Peruvians that want my attention. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting his/her own breeding program ….. OR someone hoping to find a gaited “dream horse” with unlimited potential at an affordable price. Serious inquiries only, please.

Vds Tejador de Sueno (Buttermilk Buckskin Gelding)
Registration # 25793
DOB: September 19, 2013
Sire: FF Cherokee
Dam: FF Divina
Price: $3,800 (SOLD)
I call him “Blue” because he has a few blue spots in on eye…. And he is an absolutely gorgeous gelding with all the color and beauty you could ask for in a horse. His breeding is classic and contains many champions (Antares, HNS Domingo, Sol de Oro V, Burlador, Estrellita del Sur). He has the gait and conformation desired in a great show or trail Peruvian Paso. He is handled regularly, but is a bit shy with unfamiliar people, so he will require an experienced horse person that is comfortable working with young horses. He ties, leads, stands for the farrier, loads/unloads safely into a trailer and is ready for a job. He is already about 15 hands at 2.5 years, so I figure he will be around 15hh when done growing. This is a gelding that would do very well in the show ring… or turn people’s heads as you gait down the trail. His potential is unlimited.

I have a few new mares I’d like to add to my herd, but I’m VERY tight on space, so this young gelding is priced to sell. He should mature to be around 15hds., and his dark buckskin coloring will most likely lighten to that of his sire on our “Stallion” page. He leads, ties, loads into the trailer, and is ready for a job. I am keeping his full sister to use for breeding, and I must reduce my numbers.

FF Amberina http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ff+amberina
(Pearl Palomino)
Sire: Brisa Valentino
Dam: FF Ayacuchana
DOB: April 27, 2005
Registration # 19462
Price: $4,500 SOLD
Amber is the perfect broodmare…. easy to breed and a wonderful mother. She is a palomino with the rare “Pearl” gene and green eyes. If you want color in your herd, she’s the perfect choice. She is a strong mare with great legs and good size (approx. 15hh). I will be using her filly in my breeding program, and as a small ranch, space is limited and I don’t have the luxury of keeping all my horses. She is trained and has been ridden in the past, but I have used her strictly for breeding the last few years; therefore, she is being offered for sale as a broodmare at this time. I have just weaned her filly, so she will be ready to be bred for a 2016 foal… or tuned up and used on the trails again. Please email or call for additional information and pictures.

Beautiful horses! I’m interested in a trained Paso and a foal to raise. Send photos of any thing you have that might fit this description. I also want to see the foal you have coming this month. Will you post photos? I like the buckskins.

Greg,
My buckskin mare produced a perlino this year which I am so excited about! I did post photos, and I will keep adding photos as she grows up. Thanks for the wonderful phone conversations…and I know we’ll be connecting at the end of the month, but check out the different colors and styles you like so that I can match a mare with a stallion for your perfect Peruvian. I look forward to blazing the trails with you!

Hello-
Looking forward to seeing what you’ll have for sale this year. I hope that little perlino filly will be on the list. Nice website. I enjoy reading about the breed on your site. I also like all the different places you list to ride.

Thank you for the feedback…. We truly appreciate it! Well, if I had it my way, I’d keep all of the current foals for future breeding stock. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or the room to house and work with all the foals. Check back to see what I end up listing “for sale”. It really comes down to what I can do in terms of breeding. I have a lot of the same lines right now, and I need to make sure that what I keep can be bred to what I keep or have available for breeding. If this is the biggest stress in my life, I’m BLESSED! Do check in, and feel free to email me for additional photos and daily/weekly updates.

Hey there how much are you asking for your perlino filly?
April 7, 2010 at 2:42 pm
Hello Amber-
I got your email as well. I will be sending you additional photos with a sales update.
May 1, 2010 at 3:48 pm
Did you receive Azulinas DNA coat results baack? If so, what is she?
Sergio

Sergio,
The results are in! She is a Cremello. I called UC Davis myself to verify the color, because I thought for certain she was a perlino.
June 10, 2010 at 8:56 pm
hey there just wondering if you got the test results back to conclude that she is truly a perlino and not a cremello
June 10, 2010 at 11:49 pm
Hello Amber-
I sent a personal email to you as well. We all thought either perlino or smoky cream… but she is cremello! I’m excited to see what my palomino mare, FF Divina, produces by her half brother (also a perlino).

I was looking in Dreamhorse for Peruvian Pasos as I have 2 and belong to PPHC and they are registered. One mare is PCR Divina that I own! And I saw the Dam’s name on your page. This would be amazing as my Divina is wonderful, out of Antares and Pilotto. Let me know! Laurie

It was great emailing with you Laurie. Who would have thought that I’d get the chance to see my Divina’s dam. They are twins (except for color). It’s a small world. Thanks for the great pictures.

I can’t wait to hear more about your new gelding Joey!
July 4, 2011 at 7:29 pm
Hi Debby, happy 4th to you and your ranch. I’m the one with Divina PCR. We now have FF Azulina and are taking her on trail rides with groups and riding on the foothills. At first she was out of practice just wanted to hang with her buddies, but she’s very sweet and has quite a personality! Yesterday when we were riding a deer surprised us all, far enuf away, but after they had to look at it we were fine. Love your website pix and the breeding combos. I tried to send a lady your way about one of your Peruvians. Take care, Laurie

Hello Laurie!
I expect to see pictures of your new horses! I’m glad you’re out enjoying them on the trails.
December 24, 2011 at 5:28 pm
I would like more info on your buckskin FF Arizona? Is she calm enough for a novice rider to take on the trails? How often is she ridden and what is her personality like? Will she go in water or step over obstacles on trails? Interested in what she has been trained to do?
Thanks, Linda

Hi Debby! I’m enjoying your website very much! Had a good giggle when I read your blip on “Marvel the Mustang”-I had one too as a kid and loved that thing way too much!!!! Had my first encounter with the Peruvian Paso in Roatan Honduras back in 03′ and the little stallion I trail rode all over the island, left a lasting impression on me! His beauty, gait and willingness were the qualities I look for in a trail partner. I love your training philosophy and when I’m ready to add another horse to my barn, currently have a Norwegian Fjord and my retired IBHA QH, I’ll definitely give you a shout! Keep up the great job promoting such a wonderful horse breed! And if you are ever considering a professional oil portrait of one of your horses feel free to contact me.
All the very best!
